MECO is an experienced constructor of complete electrical systems for our industrial clients. Our experience and abilities include Substations, Power Distribution Systems, Underground Duct Banks, Emergency Generators, Instrumentation and Control Wiring, Variable Speed Drives, Programmable Line Controllers and Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems for new and established facilities.

Fiber Optics
MECO is experienced in the construction of Fiber Optics Distribution Networks, and repair of existing Fiber Optic Systems. Our experience includes Systems for a Hospital, Coal Mine, Gold Mine, and tied all the State Capital Buildings in Cheyenne together. We were also the Design Consultants on a Fiber/Coax System for a Wyoming Town; and also helped with the Design for a Mining Project.
Substations
MECO has the experience, personnel and equipment to construct Substations from the ground up. This experience includes foundations, steel erection, transformer installations, grounding, fencing, bus work, and all electrical equipment.
Highway / Site Lighting
MECO has the experience to construct all types of Outdoor Lighting under all types of Site Conditions. We have completed numerous lighting projects ranging from temporary roadway lighting to high mast ballpark lighting and airport runway lighting.
Traffic Signals
MECO has completed all types of Traffic Signal Installations from sophisticated Traffic Controllers to simple warning flasher applications.
Coal Bed Methane Field
Modern Electric Co. is currently involved in every stage of Coal Bed Methane Electrical Work, from Overhead & Underground Primary and Secondary Distribution, to Well Site Hookups, to Connection and Wiring of Telemetry Instruments, to Screw & Reciprocating Compressors. Modern Electric Co. has the Equipment and Manpower for your needs.
Underground Distribution Systems
Modern Electric Co. has performed several Projects from 4.16Kv to 25Kv. We have extensive experience in the proper installation of High Voltage Cables, Splicing and Terminations. Our Clients have included Colleges, Institutions, Energy Producers and Developers. Modern Electric Co. is a Qualified Installer for Powder River Energy Corp. We self perform High Voltage Potential Tests.
